Clean vase, fresh water
Start with a clean vase and change the water regularly.
Recut the stems
Trim ½ inch (1 cm) at an angle every 3 days so the stems keep drinking.
Keep them comfortable
Away from strong heat, direct sun, ripening fruit and lit candles.
