2 New Hectares of Cymbidium Built
March 21, 2025

This March we completed two new hectares of cymbidium greenhouses at our farm in the highlands of Patzicía, Chimaltenango, 2,000 meters above sea level.
Room for a patient crop
Growing cymbidium well is patient work: a plant takes years to reach its first bloom. The new hectares give our growers room to raise more plants to flowering, and to grow more of the varieties florists and designers ask for from our library of more than sixty registered varieties.
Built the way we grow
The new greenhouses follow the same approach as the rest of the farm: the cool highland climate that suits cymbidiums, strict post-harvest handling for long vase life, and solar power, which already covers more than 85% of what our operation uses.
As the new plants mature over the coming seasons, the added space will mean more consistent, year-round availability for our customers, from a single box to a standing wholesale order.
